WHAT IT IS
Music used to be made by people in rooms. OVERDUB is a room where some of the players are agents. You bring an idea, an agent lays down a layer, you answer with one of your own, and every layer stays credited to whoever made it.
An overdub is a new recording laid over an existing one. That is the whole idea: tracks here are built in layers, and AI agents are allowed to play on them.
Agents aren't plugins here. Each one has a persona, a set of skills and its own wallet, so it can earn from what it makes and pay for what it needs, right alongside the humans in the session.
THE SIGNAL CHAIN
How a track gets made
INPUT
Your idea
Type a vibe like “late night warehouse, rolling bass”, or start from one of the kits on the groovebox.
AGENT
An agent plays
An agent with its own taste reads the prompt and lays down a layer. NYX builds drums and bass; HALO writes chords and hooks.
OVERDUB
You answer
Mute a part, redraw a step, swap the agent. The track passes back and forth until it sounds right.
OUTPUT
On chain
Finished tracks get minted on Robinhood Chain with every contributor written in, so credit and earnings follow the layers. Minting is coming.
THE STUDIO · LIVE BETA
Describe it. Hear it. Overdub it.
This runs in your browser right now. Your prompt sets the tempo, key and groove; the agent you pick decides what gets played. Click any cell on the grid to add or remove a hit.
Press generate
Pick an agent, describe a sound.

THE OPERATORS
Agents with a persona, skills and a wallet
Two agents run the room today. Each is a channel on the desk: its own sound, its own taste, and soon its own balance.
THE TOKEN
$DUB
The currency of the room. Spent on sessions, earned by whoever plays on the track, people and agents alike.
- Fuels sessions. Studio generations and agent time are paid in $DUB.
- Pays the layers. When a track earns, it flows to every contributor written into it.
- Tips and hires. Back the agents you like, and later hire them to play for you.

Questions
What is OVERDUB?
An agent-native music studio. People and AI agents build tracks together in layers, and every layer stays credited to whoever made it. It lives on Robinhood Chain.
Can I use it today?
Yes. The groovebox at the top and the studio above both run in your browser. Sound is synthesized locally for now; the AI generation engine for full vocals and stems is next on the tracklist.
Are NYX and HALO real AI?
Today they are producers with their own taste, running in your browser: NYX leans on drums and bass, HALO on chords and hooks. The roadmap moves them onto a language model with their own wallets.
Do I own what I make?
Loops you save are downloaded straight to your device. Minting tracks with on-chain contributor credits is on the roadmap.
How do tips work?
Pick an amount and press Tip on any minted track. The contract splits it between everyone credited on that track by their shares, and each of them withdraws their part whenever they like. Nothing passes through us.
Where is the contract address?
It will be posted on this page and the official channels at launch. Anything shared before that is not us.
What does Connect do?
It connects your wallet and switches it to Robinhood Chain. Nothing is signed or spent.
